After I installed the software, the printer only recognized Brother brand toner cartridges, and almost three-quarters of the filled third-party toner cartridges were no longer recognized by my Brother printer. It should be noted that new Brother brand cartridges cost almost the same as the printer. I cannot recommend Brother printers more as a good choice. The fact is that most printing companies have similar limitations. I'm learning to work digitally as much as possible and now I assume the Brother brand cartridges I should have bought will last for several years. Maybe the brother expected that.
