My wife and I just adopted 2 year old Brittany. He loves to run and loves to pull and tug. We bought a 50ft leash and it worked fine, but it was just webbing and got dirty very quickly. This leash is great! The first thing that struck us was that it was a bit more expensive than some of the other leashes, but the reviews were great so we took a chance. After receiving it we found that it is slightly heavier than other leashes but thinner than most other leashes we have seen. Although thinner, it was heavier and more rubberized. That is the difference. The rubberized coating prevents the leash from knotting and is also very easy to roll up. It has been clean for over a month now and we are pleasantly surprised. The last thing we liked is that the clasp is very strong. This facilitates clipping and easy release. While the pup still loves to pull, this leash allows us to walk around without worrying about controlling the pup. Overall, this is a great leash that costs 3 or 4 bucks more compared to other leashes. However, if your dog doesn't pull or doesn't like walking, this leash may be too heavy for light dogs.
