I have had Dell products in the past and they have always served me well. I mainly use this with Lockheed Martin's Flight Simulator, so 4K is important to me. As for the curved screen, I bought it because it just looks good to me, I really don't see any difference sitting in front of a curved or straight screen. Settings are easy to use and are at the bottom of the screen once you get used to them. I'm using my 32 inch Dell monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a refresh rate of 60 Hz and I have no problems with the flight simulator. I'm sure you will love this monitor when you buy it.
