This rug is AMAZING. My cat thinks he has access to every surface in our house and we are very sick of him hopping around the counters trying all of our food. No longer! We leave the rug on the table when we're not in the room so he doesn't bounce up and he FINALLY gets the message. During the day we also put a rug over the sofa so the dog doesn't sleep on it. So far we have had to vacuum the sofa much less often! A few notes about the product: 1. The plastic material is very durable and the mat rolls up to minimize packing. I recommend turning the rug backwards for an hour to help it straighten out. 2. If the mat is left on a curved surface, it will take on that shape a little. Don't worry, you can always straighten it! I am very happy to use it on our carpet and chairs to keep the cat from scratching! This product saves us a lot of headaches!
