Overall the pants are great. I buy these for both 7 and 4 year old boys and they stand up to the rigors of outdoor life. These are the only pants my 7 year old has worn in almost a year without his knees buckling. I give it five because it's the best pair of pants we've ever bought, but ALL BUTTONS ARE LOCKED. Sometimes the seam doesn't even pierce. Get ready to turn on hundreds of buttons right after purchase, it will save you hundreds of headaches later. It just tells me that the stitching isn't of good quality and maybe that's why it's so cheap. They run at least 1 size larger if not 2. I buy the size my kids usually wear, hem them and keep my fingers crossed they're last. When they finally fail at the knees, we turn them into shorts and then wear them forever. They are worth every penny and I will continue to buy them as long as they last.
