I ordered 3 sizes down and the waist is still kinda big, but the hips are a bit tight and the rise at the waist isn't as high as we'd like, so there is the effect of a camel toe. After washing on cold cycle and drying low, the pants have shrunk a bit and are now very narrow in the hips and seat, but still have a slit in the back. I can't even buckle them up to close the gap because the seat and hips are so tight they tighten the crotch even more. Too bad because the pants are very cute but unless you have very narrow hips to the waist this is a crazy size.
