50% Reject Rate: Tool Boxes

I bought four of these boxes and a four drawer cabinet to use without the inserts as a lightweight, non-portable tool box. (For some reason these drawers are now much cheaper with inserts than without.) Two of the four drawers arrived broken, one missing the latch and the other badly bent on the outside (handle side) edge so it was very difficult to do the lid to. (This was clearly a manufacturing defect, not a shipping defect.) I returned two defective cases and of the two I received again, half were defective. The outer edge of one of them was bent again, though not as badly as the first time. (Maybe it happened either at the factory or in transit; I can't tell.) The second drawer was also almost broken - the latch was loose on one side, and if I hadn't noticed right away, it's probably on the Floor dropped stick, and I would have thought he was gone from the start. This time I've decided to just live with the curved edge rather than struggle with returns again. It's bad, but not that bad. One day when I have some free time I will try to fix it. This cabinet and drawer system looks, feels, and even smells like a really good product from a bygone American era, and I mean, a workable route at best. It seems perfect for both light tools and the gear it's really designed for. However, they _really_ need to tighten their quality control.
