The inside of these socks is made of terry cloth, which excellently solves the problem of sweating when using merino wool. I also think it's good that there are reinforcements in the stressed areas (not just the sewn-in company logo :-( ). The ends of the toe seam can be felt if you look for them. The terry cloth helps a lot. Two tight woven bands directly under the ankle and in the upper part of the calf. Good for avoiding slipping. However, the band at the top of the calf is uncomfortably tight for me and they unravel.
