Minus33 Merino Wool Clothing Mountain Heritage Lightweight Full Size Socks Made in USA, New Hampshire These socks are made from a merino wool blend and are quite thick (despite the lightweight name). I would wear these socks with boots, not shoes that I use thin socks with. These socks come down to the calf and are big enough to fit most boots. The wool material ensures that your feet stay warm even when wet. As with any wool, wash in cold water and dry if possible.

The inside of these socks is made of terry cloth, which excellently solves the problem of sweating when using merino wool. I also think it's good that there are reinforcements in the stressed areas (not just the sewn-in company logo :-( ). The ends of the toe seam can be felt if you look for them. Regular Minus 33's Merino Wool socks are made of thick and soft wool. They sit wonderfully on the foot and are very nicely finished.
