The base station itself is exactly the same as what Valve sells. It is not my problem. My problem is that they are over $50 more expensive than the base stations sold by Valve on Steam. It wouldn't be a big deal if these base stations from HTC didn't come with objectively inferior accessories. Did you think your $200 base stations came with mounting hardware like Valve's $50 cheaper ones? Power cord: The cord that comes with these base stations sold by HTC is not only significantly shorter than those sold by Valve, it's also stiffer and doesn't hang nicely straight down the wall. The PSU is also much larger than what Valve gives you. Overall: DO NOT BUY if you absolutely can't wait to get them from Valve. You'll have to buy mounting hardware and deal with a shorter/uglier cable.
