I have a sports bar at home. The $25 patio cable comes from a different box. Everything works there again. These cables are worth trying, especially when they're cheaper than the 6-foot HDMI at Lowes, Radio Shack, or Best Buy. and I bought their expensive cables earlier for another place in the house. I have paid special attention to the connection and it is permanent so it will never be severed. I've read reviews from other buyers about cheap connectors, so I can't comment on that. TO UPDATE. wrote earlier, these are excellent cables for the money, BUT. started another project with the consent of his wife. decided to modify my home theater and put the components in front of it. Enter this 50 foot cable. a new amplifier Onkyo 720 with a high-end projector Sharp XV-Z12000. Everything looked fine on the wall. but now that everything is working and on screen it has definitely lost a bit of quality in sharpness and brightness. It has its moments when it's acceptable, but not enough, so now I'll look for an extension cord, an amplifier, or a good quality HDMI cable. Lesson learned. This cable works great with small images. By the way, my screen is 13 feet diagonal. This is how you tend to notice things more easily. Hope that helps
