The springs are now cheap flimsy plastic, just bought this and a few other items again. We got one of these hedgehog toys from Learning Resources a few years ago that has strong and durable rubber springs. I am so disappointed in Learning Resources that they are now doing this with their products. We used to love Learning Resources products because they are so strong, sturdy and durable and we have tons of their old products. Unfortunately we won't be buying from them again as they cared more about saving a few pennies than making their customers happy. Be ashamed of your learning resources! Now we will adhere to the lake education for durable quality products.
