my 12 month old loves it. He loves to pull out the thorns and chew them (teeth). I love that we can finally work on fine motor skills by using them. Holds attention for a decent amount of time. He likes the rubbery feel of the spikes on his erupting gums.

This toy is so well made! My two kids fought over it like all toys. I like that you can take it with you when you travel or when you visit grandma. I love how it develops my 3 year old's fine motor and counting skills. The colors are great! You will not regret the purchase!

Excellent toy! My 4.5 year old, 18 month old and 11 month old grandchildren played with it in different ways. The older ones made colored patterns, the middle ones were inserted and pulled out of the holes, and the younger ones could pull them out and grab the "feathers". Finished parts are placed inside, making them easy to store. I love Learning Resources toys, they are well made and thoughtfully designed.

I really like this product. It stands over 18 months but my two kids (11 months and 3) enjoyed it. It is designed to develop fine motor skills. The spikes are made of rubber in different colors and can be inserted into the hedgehog's holes and removed again. I bought this toy as a gift for my 2 year old daughter and it is now one of her favorite toys.
