On the whole, it's very good. As far as organizing ALL my jewelry, it was really amazing. However, there are a couple of things that I'm not so thrilled about. First of all, we mounted it on our bathroom door, in our bedroom. It sticks out pretty far, so you have to be careful not to bump into it! Also, if the hinge isn't closed tight, the door opens and can hit you. I DON'T recommend putting it on a door that is used a lot. Better to put it on a wall. Secondly, the earring holes are great for hoops, but not so good for earrings with posts. I read a review where someone said they use the ring slots for their stud earrings. I would suggest using the ring slots for earring with posts as well. Hoops work really well on the earring holes, but that's about it. Thirdly, I find the interior very dark - black on black. My husband actually put a light in it so that I could see the earring holes better. it definitely helps me to see everything more clearly. You also need to be careful with hanging long necklaces - the space between the rows for the necklaces isn't that big, and therefore, the necklaces bump into one another, and can get tangled. Would I recommend it to a friend, yes, but I'd warn them about all the various "issues" I've had.
