First of all, you should know (especially if you have dark hair) that softness and smoothness are rarely achieved in a single shave. Unless you're waxing (or sugaring) expect some degree of "stubble". There's no way to really get as close as it takes to prevent this from happening. This razor won't do that, damn it. However, if you're looking for a razor that makes it easier to get into those nooks and crannies without irritating or "pulling" your hair, this is a GREAT choice. This is the only razor I have ever had that has not caused any discomfort, cuts, irritation, bumps etc etc. I'm usually afraid to shave this area because of the discomfort (I shave about every other day) but this razor was a game changer for me. It's not a razor for your legs or other "large areas", it's not a razor that gives you a waxy look/feel, but it definitely helped with everything else. And for that it's worth it to me.
