Perfect for adding a light bar to my son's headboard! I didn't want to mess around with the cutting so I just laid down as many as would fit the full length and then spread them evenly over the top. This left a 1-2 inch gap between the bars. Since I didn't use all the aluminum parts, I just covered this gap with plastic caps. For the first rail, I cut the plastic cover in half, then inserted it, then a full length piece so it fits between both rails and closes the gap. Super quick and easy, with a flawless finish! Seen from above, you can't tell there are any gaps at all.
