I bought this printer in mid 2017 with the additional legal size paper tray. It was a workhorse. It connects easily to Wi-Fi and prints from both Mac and Windows computers. Tonic lasts a long time. I've used both generic and brother brands. Brother's was better, but for what I needed, a non-branded printer was fine. Although the printer is up $200 I would buy it again if anything happened to it. I'll stay away from their color printers now because of toner issues, but this black and white printer is great.
