I have bought several so called leather belts over the years and the one I could afford broke in no time because it was only made of leather is covered with cardboard. I like these belts because I can buy several of them for the price of what is called a leather belt. They work great. The belt buckle holds very well and looks good at the moment. The belt buckles are highly polished so you need to take care of them as they look like they get scratched very easily. Being fabric I thought they might get dirty easily so I sprayed them with Scotch Guard before using them and it works great. Just remember to make them at least 8 inches larger than your waist measurement as they are easy to trim and you will need enough scraps at the end of the belt to thread through the loop.
