Our kids don't know how to use cables and don't charge their devices. Once I got that, all the cords were always in the right place, which actually got my kids plugging in their devices all the time without prompting. Everything seems to charge at a default speed. Not faster than usual, but I was concerned that the number of devices would slow it down. Not yet! The only drawback for us was the supplied cable. They were very short, which would suit an adult, but children are not as gentle, have poor and overdramatized motor skills, and will likely need a slightly longer cord. I ordered a set of 1ft charging cables and they work great! I would buy it again and definitely recommend it.
