Review on RYANS WORLD SlimySand Stretchable Multicolored by Sedric Hood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Surprise eggs may contain repeating colors

When I saw this set I knew my son who just turned 6 would love it as he is a fan of the disgusting station wagon panda from Ryan's World. He was very excited about it and played with it for about an hour when he first got it. SlimySand has a unique texture that's a lot of fun, and the molds are of good quality, if a bit small. , which also contain SlimySand. I thought there was a little toy in the surprise eggs, but there isn't one. I think the surprise must be that these are special types of sand that can be flavored or have a special color. One of the eggs we received was a beautiful beige with a shimmer effect, while the other two contained the colors already included in the set. One seemed to smell somehow, but I had no idea what was supposed to be special about the other. So the surprise egg element in this set was disappointing. The amount of sand in this set is also a little disappointing. I think it's probably around a pound while other SlimySand sets are advertised at 2-3 pounds. This set isn't the best value for money and could definitely use some improvement, but my son loved it. He loves to mix colors and pretends Red Titan and Combo are fighting a color eating monster. So it turned out that all the sand was the same dull blue-green color and it wasn't that interesting for him to continue playing. But it's a decent touch experience and good for roleplaying.
