I've always preferred ASICS running shoes. They always lasted a long time. Yes the price was a bit high but you got what you paid for. It was like that until recently. This latest pair appears to have been made in China by a different company. It's cheaply made! They're already falling apart (and I only run 2 miles 3 times a week), there's already a hole in the stack where the plastic is cracking, forming a horrible blister and rendering the shoes unusable. In just two months of running, these shoes became useless. ASICS workmanship has gone down, but the price has stayed the same. Take my advice and buy a prettier brand and don't skimp on the cost.
