Opened and tried to clean before use. Very dangerous! Almost got pierced by splinters! Very bad quality! Not good! Updated notes. After I sent the cutting board back, the seller contacted me and offered to give a voucher for a new one, stating that my experience was atypical for this item. After appreciating this offer, I made a new one. It was better than the first. This is a beautiful cutting board. It's a bit rough, and knowing the potential for splinters, my husband immediately sanded and oiled it with cooking oil.
