Lovely use this as a dog bowl after reading what dog bowls can grow. (Streptococcus etc.) I have a "fountain style" with a filter and you wouldn't believe how disgusting it gets and how quickly. The copper bowl, which is refreshed with spring water several times a day, is a complete success. My little prince prefers his copper bowl. And there may be neurological and other health benefits, along with antimicrobial and antibacterial effects. It's slightly larger and deeper than a regular cereal bowl, to say the least. I am very happy with the purchase.
