Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhanced Leather Compatibility: Ritche Release for Samsung by Tim Wheeler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The quick release is broken! Haha skin.

Edit: After a few days I decided I wanted to return this. I bought a tan Barton NATO style strap and I like it much better than the tan Ritchie quick release strap which I am returning due to a design flaw. I have a review of Barton, you can find it because I mention Richie in the title and several times in the review and this review explains why I like Barton better. Do not use quick-release springs when carrying! The strap activates the quick-release mechanism when twisted, causing the whole thing to fall apart. This product is completely damaged. With great difficulty, using pliers, I was able to remove the quick release springs from the band and replace them with normal ones, and now I'm happy with the band. I won't be returning it, a rare 2 star review that I like a product (with mods) enough to keep. The skin is comfortable, soft, but feels wrong. It's almost too good. Leather usually has imperfections and inconsistencies that make each piece unique. This leather is not at all like that, although it feels real and appears to be high quality. However, it feels delicate. I won't judge leather any further until I've established how durable it is. The quick release buckles were very difficult to remove without damaging the soft skin. At least it seemed to me that I might break the end loop while twisting the quick release button in the skin as if in a hole it's sticking out of. This part was tricky and almost ruined the end loops.
