I had a very small simple wedding in the yard - my husband wore jeans, a white shirt and cowboy boots. I also wore boots. Didn't use this dress for my wedding but did use something similar. Just another snippet. That doesn't take anything away from this dress - it's well tailored and lined, so I didn't need panties when trying on nude underwear. The lace was beautiful and the high hem showed off my boots. I liked the idea with the tie which is a simple tie so I actually did something similar with the dress I actually wore. I'm 5ft 0145lbs, I bought the medium size and I needed the small. It hugged the waist but was too big for the arms. If I were a seamstress I would have made it.
