Clean the surface well, apply some water or something else and press firmly. Works very well on strollers and high chair trays! This is a fun stroller toy to take with you on the go, and even if it doesn't stick to anything, it's probably a fun toy for most kids. We got this for Christmas for my 6 month old who was 8 months old at the time and not exhausted in terms of suction. We hope this continues for some time to come! The toy itself actually detaches from the base. I actually had a heart attack thinking my little one broke it when I saw her wearing the base ^^' but no, it broke! Not sure if this is intended as a wearable toy but hey! Maybe I guess? (I also don't know why I bothered to censor my kids' faces lol. I see everyone else is doing it.)
