Doesn't work

So bought it because of all the rave reviews with disgusting pictures of a suction head full of junk said to be made out of leather. Well I tried today and nothing happened. It tugged and tugged at my skin leaving it red, but the jet heads were as clean as they came out of the box. which leads me to believe this thing hasn't sucked out a single black head. I would say this is one of those mugs that is a waste of money. To be honest I have no idea how other people have been so successful.
