Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best DSLR for your money.

Although I know that sooner or later my review will end up among other highly rated reviews, I decided to share my positive experience with this camera. ADVANTAGES: - Price. $500 is cheap compared to other similar cameras (albeit lower quality) like the Canon Rebel T3i, 60D or even the newer T5i. - Build quality. As far as I know this camera is made in Thailand but the quality control I have is amazing. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. Has good handles and a comfortable weight. Not too bulky camera. Image quality/sensor. For $500 you get a true 24.2 megapixel DSLR. SnapSort, in its comparison of the D3200 to its direct competitor, the 18-megapixel Canon Rebel T3i DSLR, stated that the D3200's image quality is over 20% better, reflecting the D3200's 10% larger image sensor and higher True megapixel count is 30% more detailed on the photos. The image sensor is of very high quality and this camera takes incredible pictures all the time. I'm by no means a professional photographer, it's just my big hobby, but I'm a photographic perfectionist. The ability to easily capture stunning images with this camera is second to none. - User friendliness. I'm an amateur photographer looking for a good upgrade and I made sure to do my homework when choosing a camera. I chose this camera because everyone else said its ease of use was a key purchase factor. I've had this camera for a few weeks now and I still haven't even figured out what it can do - not much at all! However, Guide mode will help you with some basic and advanced photography. - Nice lens set. I'll admit that the 18-55mm lens is pretty limited in what it can do, especially for those who love macro photography, but it will be able to capture most of the shots you want to take. The VR function is also good. Nikon brand quality. As always, Nikon has delivered a high quality product. I have had several Nikon products and they have never let me down. Anyway, in the DSLR world, I prefer Nikon over Canon. - Ability to save in JPG / Raw format. - Ready to use: Comes with a body, lens, strap, battery, charger, etc. Think of everyone who isn't a silly little niggle. Final Thoughts: This camera is perfect for the beginner and good enough for the master. He does everything!
