Surprisingly not for long.
This was exactly what I was looking for when looking for a portable vibration system for my newborn. It worked right away and was great. I love that it turns itself off because my family has a terrible habit of leaving vibrating baby seats on and we use way too many batteries. I even bought it for a relative who was having her first child because it was a life saver to help the baby sleep longer. Unfortunately this only lasted about two months and then the vibration would be intermittent and eventually just stop. I would absolutely recommend this product if it lasts longer but unfortunately it was a failure.
