They work great! I had to change the wheels on my Chargrill Wrangler Grill again. The high performance wheels I upgraded myself had hard plastic hubs. Unfortunately, rolling the grid over my slightly rough terrain shattered the hard plastic hub, so I went with metal hub wheels. Now they should do! Okay, the new wheels are a bit wider than the old ones, so I used an old wheel and a new wheel on the axle for a quick fix. They just fit. But the old wheel was actually destroyed. So I needed a new axle. I received a 3/8" steel rod from Lowe's or Home Depot that was too long. Okay, I wasn't sure I could efficiently drill pinholes like I did on the original axle, so I decided to try an alternative solution. I'm a (music) doctor, not a plumber, so I had no idea what to use instead of cotter pins. held with a set screw. After hours of searching the web I came across this one. 4-piece Jeremywell set screw shaft collar, Zinc plated steel, 3/8" bore, corrosion resistant. So my solution. On one side of the axle: 1 set of screw shaft clamp 1 flat washer 2 1" metal washers to fill in the excess space between Axle and wheel hub (depending on the wheel) 1 wheel 1 washer 1 set of propshaft clamp. Fasten other side. After everything was fixed I used a reciprocating saw with a heavy metal cutting blade to cut through the steel axle. !In any case, the BBQ grill is more sustainable than ever. The wheels are built to last and shouldn't fail again. "Life is a journey, not a destination."
