Mine was well packaged with instructions, screws and a large full size template. Luckily I laid the pieces on the template before drilling the holes. The holes for the larger bracket are too close together on the template. Also, I found that if I oriented the parts exactly as shown in the template, I would have to stretch all the brackets to their maximum values (move back left to right, front back and forth) to get Potty to fix it. So you don't have a template, you have to go back and forth, placing potties on holders and trying to figure out where they work best. A colossal pain for some really simple curved metal clasps that cost so much. This becomes an additional concern when you consider where these pots are installed in most RVs or boats; These aren't typically the places we want to potty test over and over again on a 100F day. It took me about an hour to get my potties to fit and lock properly; a job that should have taken a minute or two if the template was correct.
