I only gave this tower 3 stars for its ease of assembly, but it still gets 5 stars for how much it has improved our family life! This tower has completely changed the way our cats use our living room. Our three cats have very different playstyles, but they all love this tower! Our little cat princess loves to sit on the top platform and look around her kingdom at any time of the day. Our cat from X-Games, the warrior ninja, loves to climb the chimney all the way to the top and onto the next couch. Our classy cat senior uses very tall scratching posts to perfectly stretch his back and keep his claws nice and healthy. They use this tower every day. Set up was quite difficult for two people but luckily my wife proved very comfortable. It's incredibly stable when set up correctly. Make sure the tower is level (take a step back during assembly to see if it's leaning at all). The cat's head shaped piece of wood should rest against the ceiling for maximum tension and stability throughout the tower. Allow about an hour to put everything together and it will definitely require two people. However, it's worth it! The materials are of high quality and the result is excellent! We are very glad we got this. Stupidly said, but seriously, our only regret is that we didn't get this a few months ago.
