Review on Compact 4 Inch USB Desk Fan: Powerful Airflow, Quiet Operation - Perfect for Cooling Desktops at Office or Home by Ryan Gilliam

Amazingly efficient and quiet!

Super light, compact and quiet. I volunteer at the fire station several days a month, and there is no electricity here. On hot, windless days, the cabin can get very hot, so I bought this fan and plugged it into a portable USB power supply. Works perfectly! Using an ammeter I found that it draws about 210mA on low, about 350mA on medium and about 620mA on high. Even at the maximum it takes a good 8 hours, at the minimum a couple of days. It's so quiet in the low-mid range that you can't tell it's on, but even at 5 or 6 feet you can definitely feel the breeze. He definitely sounds like a computer geek on high, but I really think that's all he modified to be in a desktop fan case. Buying this for your desk at work fits the bill perfectly. I might see a camping app in your tent or in the back of your car, something like that. It's just plastic and I could see it breaking if it gets really squashed in the luggage or something. That being said, I just bought a second one for motorbike camping. Definitely worth the price and I've had it for a few months now. if he was squeezed very tightly in the luggage or something.
