There were a few minor issues with the welder/manual but when I finally got around to using the welder it worked great. but don't provide any specification or requirement. Also, nothing is included with the welder, so you need to come up with something before using the welder. After poking around the internet for a while, I found that thermal paste used under the heatsink was the most popular answer. I'm still not sure if this is the correct material as it came out of the joint during welding. The manual also mentions a resistance setting, which this welder doesn't have. Not a serious problem, but if the welder is updated, the manual should also be updated. Some of the settings in the manual weren't really clear what the impact of the adjustment was. The device is delivered without a plug. (Not too surprising given the variety of 20 amp and 240 volt outlets available.) It actually took me two tries to get the right kit. After setting up the device, I made about 80 welds. The machine has performed as well or better than any other spot welder I have ever used.
