I had my doubts, but THIS IS SUITABLE!
First I have a 2018 Ram 2500. Size XL covers the entire windshield. It fits corner to corner. You'll need to maneuver around the rearview mirror sensor and use both sun visors to secure it. It completely covers the dashboard, and in 106° weather, the interior temperature of the cabin is 81°. I'm having trouble folding the sun visor onto the spring frame. I have not made it yet. I just threw it in the back of a truck. If I can, it has a lid that can be easily removed. It's very light and not bulky at all. Would recommend no matter what car you have!
