Visited Ireland recently on business travelled. Bought two of these. Both worked as advertised. Could not be better. I highly recommend this converter. Laptop and cell phone charger worked perfectly. They don't get hot during use. I will definitely contact this company for other converters for future trips to other countries. UPDATE: There was an unusual exception on the return flight. 787-8. Spoke to a fellow traveler about how well they work. The plane had a universal power outlet in the back of the seat in front of me. So I tried connecting the converter to the seat and trying. It does not stay connected to the network. The seat cover is slightly recessed and has a square shape. The TESSAN adapter is rectangular and extends below the recessed portion so it does not fully engage and extend. Since no converter is required to be able to use the plug on the plane, this is not a problem, just interesting. It's not TESSANA's fault. The adapter worked perfectly everywhere. I would give this adapter a 5+ if I could! By the way, I'm not a bot and had to buy it myself.
