I hung my street tree instead of electric ones for Christmas this year. I already have white solar lights on my porch railing that I leave year round. I thought the colored ones would look good on my tree. Unfortunately, this winter was the darkest we've ever had. I hung them up after Thanksgiving and we've had probably 2 sunny days in the last month. To my surprise, these colored lanterns lasted much longer at night than any of my other solar lanterns! The batteries that come with them have to be of really good quality for them to work the way they are! This is your primary red, green, yellow, blue, not pink or purple. They are solar powered so not as bright as electric ones but still bright enough. I am very happy with these lamps and would recommend them to anyone!
