Pretty good, best interior accessory yet

Although it's a bit shinier than most other carbon fiber finishes, it actually looks pretty good, even compared to the matte finish of the door sills I've installed. If you like door sills, here's a list (follow my instructions in the review if you want my results and not just overlap them on the sill itself): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08J7ZDY41/ref= cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_K9CVS38WG61MB918SBSFWhere were we?. So, about a month later, door guards were installed on my 2021 Camry, and so far so good. I'll have to update and rate the durability part (my driver's side has some wear but it looks like it's only surface contact with the sole of the sneaker and wears away easily) of the review after a few months, as well as the adhesion aspect. As in the case of adhesion. With any of these products, it's a good idea to measure and trim the strips beforehand so you don't mess with them later. You can hold the strip by the edge and unfold until you are satisfied. For my car's front, I used the length of the rocker panel itself as a length guide. For the back I used the plastic stitching below as a starting point and went all the way to the back and I think it looks complementary. Use a good pair of sharp scissors as the strip can be "sticky" and a dull blade will distort it. Then, especially on a textured surface, you need to clean the area by rubbing alcohol on a rag or paper towel. until completely dry from alcohol and let dry. When you are ready to lay the strip, remove the backing and center the starting point and align evenly or as you see fit. Slowly start laying down the rest of the strip, but don't press too hard just in case you need to reposition it. When you are happy with the placement, gently hold the area you are applying pressure to and rub with your thumb and palm to prevent the product from slipping off before application. Move from one side of the strip to the other, paying special attention to the corners and edges. I worked each strip side to side four times until the strip was warm to the touch. You can use a blow dryer or heat gun on low, but that might be overkill. As long as the area is thoroughly cleaned and the strip is properly applied, you should be golden. Enjoy.
