I wanted something that would blow the wind when it got colder. I'm what some call "Snowbird", I just don't like the cold wind. I love the fabric and the fit. I am 5ft 7.5" / 5ft 8" and weigh 185 pounds. Great fit. I was almost at my goal weight (lost 25 pounds this year) and didn't want the fall/early winter weather to get in the way. If you have a warm base layer, this is a great addition. The only wish is that the back pocket has a zipper. The fabric is water repellent as advertised. I don't want to say that the wind is invisible, but it's hard for me to find better words. This is the best windbreaker I've ever had. Would recommend to anyone who needs a light jacket to keep warm. If you want a cold winter under 30 and a solution very wet to the bone, this might not be the case, but it can help if you take advantage of the layers. UPDATE ************** Just used this jacket for 10+ miles on the bike. I made a layer with a thermal base layer and a shirt. It was from 28 to 34 degrees. I was warm enough to be comfortable and still be able to breathe, allowing the underlayers to absorb moisture from sweat. I'm not sure I could have asked for more from a windbreaker. Very satisfied.
