Solid construction and just what I needed

I've been looking for a good HDMI KVM for days. I usually gravitate towards the ones with lots of positive reviews, but this one caught my eye (no reviews) and I thought I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did. It is beautifully built and just what I needed. It has really improved my productivity. I used to switch my monitor between three computers and had an old USB switch to switch my wireless keyboard and mouse. Much easier with this setup! The package includes two sets of cables (although it has…

marginal at best (fixed - sort of)

Nobody seems to be able to build a decent KVM switch. This is my second (first was a cheaper brand so I "upgraded") and it basically sucks. The keyboard function in particular is poor. It randomly skips characters I'm typing, including the spacebar, and sometimes it gets stuck so the character I just typed just races across the screen. I should point out that the same keyboard plugged directly into a laptop has none of these issues, so isn't a keyboard. Even while writing this review I had to…

actually works with HDMI 2.0 at 3440x1440 at 100Hz!

First I got one of those KVM switches that says PWAY 4K@60Hz at the top. This would only give me the 50Hz option. But this KVM switch actually allows me to select 100Hz. I'd like to give it 5 stars just for that, but... it doesn't have good keyboard support. I have a Corsair K70 and when I plug it into a USB keyboard port on the KVM it just goes nuts. I need to connect it to a USB 2.0 pass-through port. This works except it repeats the keys unless I use a switch on the keyboard to slow down the

Finally found a KVM that suits me. for days

This switch just works (unlike other switches I've bought in the past) My setup: Output to a 32" 4k 60Hz monitor (this one uses the monitor only for office work, so I don't care if it doesn't display at 60Hz. If you're using it primarily for entertainment, well, salt yourself in. You'll have to spend another 100 or two) inputs : - Macbook - PC - Mouse - SteelSeries Rival (everything works except the DPI toggle which I like) - Keyboard - Drop Ctrl (haven't tried any adjustments yet but…

Doesn't work with my backlit keyboard, may not work with yours either!

OK, positive feedback is good. I like to switch hotkeys with KB, Unit or IR remote. I love the fact that my monitor doesn't go crazy when I switch between Windows 10 and Linux computers. This is where the honeymoon ends. The device is not working properly with my Corsair K55 "Gaming" backlit keyboard. The tiny manual doesn't mention this problem. You have to search the internet to find the problem. The keyboard works directly with the Raspberry Pi, so it's not an overbearing keyboard at all…

Trouble on a good day

I've had this KVM for less than a week. The video seems to be working fine, but so far it has been very problematic with my keyboard and mouse. I'm using an old Logitech keyboard that has been working fine for almost 10 years. Since I have this KVM I have had 4 keyboard failures. 3 times the keyboard fell out when switching inputs. To solve the problem these 3 times I had to unplug the keyboard from the KVM and plug it back in to get it working again. It's fine unless you've hidden the KVM in…

Works great with a 4K monitor at 60Hz and PCs old and new

Resolutions: This switch works well for me with the following resolutions 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz and 30Hz (with wide gamut and HDR) 2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz and 30Hz resolutions below. Keyboard: Works well with a basic mechanical keyboard (no fancy macro keys). Mouse: Works with Logitech Wireless Mouse (G703 with dongle). This allows you to toggle sensitivity with reprogrammed mouse buttons. For more complex commands to work (such as closing a window), the mouse must be connected to the only remaining…

Works well but a bit finicky on some video resolutions

Apple Thunderbolt HDMI port) . It works fine after setup. It took a few times to recognize each machine's display (unplug/plug) but then it generally works well and is excellent value for money. Sometimes there are problems recognizing the video signal from the woken up machine. get up after sleep. But since I've never had this machine connected to this monitor, I can't be sure if it was KVM. Please note that it cannot handle anything other than a simple keyboard and mouse setup. I have a…

Great little KVM switch

I'll admit I was a little hesitant to try this KVM, but after a few days of research I decided the price was worth the risk. KVM works as advertised and I couldn't. I'm using a standard mechanical keyboard (no dedicated gaming function keys, etc.) and everything works, including the hotkey to toggle. I use a gaming mouse, which worries me as mouse input is emulated on KVM for shared devices (to avoid USB lag when switching). This emulation prevents the extra buttons on gaming mice from working…
