Review on πŸ” TESmart HDMI KVM Switcher - 4K @ 60Hz UHD Support with USB 2.0 - 2 KVM Cables Included by Kenneth Rich

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Finally found a KVM that suits me. for days

This switch just works (unlike other switches I've bought in the past) My setup: Output to a 32" 4k 60Hz monitor (this one uses the monitor only for office work, so I don't care if it doesn't display at 60Hz. If you're using it primarily for entertainment, well, salt yourself in. You'll have to spend another 100 or two) inputs : - Macbook - PC - Mouse - SteelSeries Rival (everything works except the DPI toggle which I like) - Keyboard - Drop Ctrl (haven't tried any adjustments yet but everything seems to work including the pre-configured LEDs. Most KVMs in this price range and below have issues with mechanical keyboards but this one works fine) Some takeaways: - keyboard and mouse are very responsive when switching inputs - almost instantaneously (best thing i I've ever experienced) - keyboard from time to time ( 5 times in 8 hours) missed a keystroke when using this KVM. (metal) unlike some other KVMs I've bought in the past that are around this price - No static sound (other KVMs were making weird noises) - Switches with no glitches. Other KVMs hung on my keyboard and mouse after switching. This problem has not yet occurred with this KVM. Edit: Crashes after using it for a few days. There is now a constant delay with each click and keypress. Let's move on to the next square.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
