Solid construction and just what I needed

I've been looking for a good HDMI KVM for days. I usually gravitate towards the ones with lots of positive reviews, but this one caught my eye (no reviews) and I thought I'd take a chance. I'm glad I did. It is beautifully built and just what I needed. It has really improved my productivity. I used to switch my monitor between three computers and had an old USB switch to switch my wireless keyboard and mouse. Much easier with this setup! The package includes two sets of cables (although it has 4 connectors, I had a lot of cables), a power adapter and instructions. Connected and ready to use in 10 minutes. The documentation explains why they don't ship a battery with the remote. It uses CR2025. You don't really need a remote if you place it within reach as the switch on the front is solid, bright and easily accessible. Of the three USB ports, two are reserved for the mouse and keyboard. I connected my USB wireless transceiver to one and it worked great. Third USB 2.0 and it seems to be powered. You can use it for other things like a camera, printer, etc. Some USB devices may prefer a third port. I plugged in an active USB hub and used it to connect the camera and Yubikey. While it works great. As an alternative to the remote and derailleur button, the keyboard hotkey was important to me. At first I had trouble setting the default key as it uses a "Scroll Lock" key and my wireless keyboard didn't have one. Luckily, there's a way to switch it to the CTRL key. I made it in the end. The documentation could be a bit better with instructions, but that's enough. My last comment relates to the remote control. On the remote control there are M and P buttons. I can't understand what they are used for. Does somebody know? Page 11 of the documentation shows them but doesn't explain what they do. "In summary, I am very satisfied with the device so far. This allowed me to connect four computers (two personal PCs, a personal Linux laptop, and my work laptop) with the same monitor, keyboard, mouse, and USB peripherals.
