Excellent frame for shadows! Very solid feel (wood, glass and even hinges) and it just looks amazing even before I add any artwork! I'll post a photo when I've finished my project. I actually bought 3 different frames to choose the one that best suits my intentions. It was the winner. the other had a linen back, which is a little more casual than I wanted. The black felt behind this border gives it a more formal look. The rest is also open at the back. The front entrance to this box is of great importance in assembling art objects that go inside. Then this frame is twice as good in terms of depth as any other frame in this price range. This can be a disadvantage if your art doesn't use all that depth as the frame has a fairly dark interior (with wood, depth and background of course). I intend to add interior lighting so perfect for my needs.
