I agree with previous reviews that the material is softer and thicker than I expected. It doesn't look like a cheap sweater on the internet, but something I would buy in a boutique. It doesn't itch like some sweaters, but is soft and comfortable. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't say how it will hold up after washing, but for now I'm very happy with it!
