Review on Essence Ocean Freshwater Grain Free Food by Heidi Willis

My cats love this food. Given all the options with fillers and junk in them, Essence has really stepped up. Cats are obligate carnivores, but feeding them real 100% raw food is currently beyond my capabilities, so this is the next best option. Even my two picky eaters enjoy coming to eat now. Their coat is smoother and shinier, with no knots or hairballs. Of course, my friend was right in telling me that many of the problems pet owners face can be solved with better nutrition. Allergies have gone down, my overly licking cat hasn't had hot spots since I started this food, and my fussy cats are hungry. I have also found that I can feed less of this higher quality food because it is high calorie and actually contains food and no fillers like the cheaper food I have bought. So it lasts longer in the long run than my old food. Overall I am very happy with the results I am seeing from this brand and would highly recommend all cat owners to try a higher quality food for their kittens.
