I love the case protection. My console has been dropped a few times and is still fine. The backing that holds the cartridges can sometimes come off easily with regular use, so be careful. Constantly pushing out the switch on the docking station can cause noticeable flexing of the case plastic, as well as the insertion of various cartridges, but for the most part it gets the job done. It feels good even without slip resistance and is comfortable.
