I love the look of these belts but as soon as I opened the packaging I noticed a strong musty smell. I bought 3 pieces in different colors and hung them in my closet thinking a few days or airing would be enough. A few days later, while sniffing those straps in the closet, I had to take them outside to air them out. They hung out under the covered patio for three days and still stank. In the end I rubbed essential oil on the back of the straps and aired it a bit from the outside. It helped, but you can still smell musty. I hope a few more treatments and I'll be able to wear the belts.
