In the last year alone, I've spent $4,000 on vet bills for my German Shepherd because of uncontrollable itching and scabs all over his body. To say he's unhappy would be an understatement at best. My dog has been on prednisone and a variety of other expensive medications and shampoos for two years only for temporary relief. I've tried some of the best dog foods and I still don't feel any relief. While looking for another dog food that might help him, I came across ZiwiPeak Venison dog food. Expensive and that's a fact. A 5.5 lb bag will last my dog maybe 4 days (my dog is 110 lbs). Within a week I noticed that the itching had subsided and only gotten better over time. He eats venison, as opposed to the usual cuts, which he often sniffs and leaves. I would say my dog has only been on ZiwiPeak for three months. On a scale of 1 to 10, his itching is a 1. The scabs that covered his body are gone. Completely gone. I seem to have finally found a quality dog food that works for my dog like nothing has worked in my two years of trying. However, food can be expensive, my dog is completely drug free and I never had to go to the vet at all because of the itching.
