Stinks! This is NOT high quality leather. In the leather trade, this is called "genuine leather or real leather". If you see ANY of these terms related to leather (not just bags, but shoes, belts, hats, etc.) you get the same thing as "chipboard" means for wood. This is skin debris and "waste" of skin after good, usable skin has been removed. It's ground up, mixed with glue, and then textured or shaved to look like suede. This is the weakest leather you can buy and it won't last long. If it's at least 51% leather scraps, they can tell it's real leather, and it's just old leather that cheap bag makers have found to "advertise" the quality of their bags as well as the price. Having worked with high quality leather for most of my life, I would buy a high quality PU bag before buying a "real leather bag". Be careful, some sellers are now calling it "Real Grained Leather" and there is no such thing. Don't let those bags get wet either. Think about what happens to wet cardboard! Also, I aired this bag for 2 weeks and the smell never got better (that chemical smell they tell you is the smell of leather, is the glue they mix to glue the pieces together. This should be 49% off I can honestly pass glue). to say this is the BEST smelling bag I have ever bought and I am a bag freak!
