These bulbs get incredibly hot. They'll melt the device before you even know they're doing it. DO NOT BUY THIS DANGEROUS SHIT unless you want to start a fire! I usually return an item, donate it to charity, or give it to a friend as a gift. want to be responsible for giving someone a lightbulb that could burn down their house. :/PS If you have a fixture large enough to fit a slightly larger spherical bulb, I've just purchased a 4w semi-chrome Edison-style LED bulb from ZYCYLIGHT and it works great. Doesn't heat at all. Not very bright, but I just wanted a soft light over my keyboard.
